The… Aesthetic Consult
Your space is unique and likely a representation of your style. Spaces should provide both function and beauty. With a huge catalog of sound treatment materials at my fingertips, we’ll find what fits your space best to achieve the desired results… acoustically and aesthetically. This is typically the first step at an in-person consult which can be scheduled here.
The… Acoustic Analysis
It’s all about the metrics. Pre-measurements are taken on a sound level meter to determine the average noise level in a particular space. This provides the information I need to make data-driven decisions about how to best improve your space. From square footage to ceiling height, these are the numbers that drive the recommendation.
The… Budget
Cost has to meet value here. I get it. You have expenses. However, acoustic comfort has been entering people’s consciousness for the last few years and the research shows that the more acoustically comfortable a space is, the more likely someone is to return, tell a friend, and spend more money. If your noisy space is in-home, watch productivity, mindfulness and focus go up while stress goes down. The market trends on acoustic treatments are speaking for themselves.
The… Space Layout
I’ll put together a 3D rendering of your space based on my measured square footage including all space dimensions throughout. This will be our scaled template for how we lay out the placement of whichever acoustic products fit your brand identity and aesthetic vision. This is a great way for your to see how your investment will elevate your space and integrate with your space’s identity.
The… Math
I’ll take my measurements from the data analysis and to calculate the optimal number and placement of acoustic products to meet the needs of your space. From ceiling height, to square footage, to number of windows and hard reflective surfaces in the space, I’ll be able to blend the right products and placement of products to achieve the most effective results.
The… Sourcing & Placement
As an audiologist, I am uniquely qualified to source the right materials for your space, and make it look good. My background in the science of sound and sound mitigation techniques helps me determine what to source and how to incorporate it. With established relationships with high quality vendors, we can make it both look good and sound good.
The… Brand Integration
I’ll use a variety of fabric colors, wood materials, or custom artwork to represent your business’s brand or home aesthetic to your liking. Whether you want a subtle integration of acoustic products, or to accent your space with a pop of color, natural wood, or artwork, we’ll work together to come up with the right combination to make it sound and look great.
The… Proposal
With your aesthetic goals established and my data-driven recommendations laid out, I go to work sourcing in a way that pulls design, data, and budget together to give you a high-end recommendation at an affordable cost. Recommendations are always within your budget and never set in stone. This is also our time for discussion and revisions, if needed.
The… Approval
Once you approve the project, we’re off and running. Ship time varies so we can approximate the install based on the materials ordered.
The… Order & Ship
Ordering is standard and generally 5-7 business days, depending on size of order.
The… Install
The fun part. Depending on the scope of the job I can usually get this wrapped up within a few weeks. You are also welcome to contract this out if you prefer or do-it-yourself, but please don’t steal my joy - this is my favorite part!
The… Post-Measurement
The proof is in the… science. We’ll repeat measurements and compare to the pre-install date to ensure we’ve fully seen it through.
The… Follow-Up
Feedback is key. You should see and hear an improvement in how your feel about the space and with what others have to say. If you’re a business, ask for feedback and watch those Google reviews explode with positive comments.
